If Salva was older he would share his water because he could survive with less water then if he was younger.
Because Salva would be much safer then with him and his Uncle wants to support his country.
Because since Salva's Uncle died people think that he would complain and slow the group down.
Because he relized what his uncle said but then he became stronger when he relized.
