I am a student at Ōtaki College in Ōtaki, NZ. My blog is a place where I will be able to share some of my learning. Please note....some work won't be edited - they are just my first drafts, so there may be some errors. I would love your feedback, comments, thoughts and ideas on my posts.
Congratulations on your brilliant similes! The point of a simile is to create a visual of something with reference to an extreme of something else and you have done an amazing job.
I particularly like the third one: ‘some babies are as small as a mouse’. Isn’t it incredible how far technology has come? Nowadays a baby can be born very early and very tiny and still be okay. What’s your favourite technological innovation?
Quick tip: because your background has words in it, it is a little bit difficult to read your similes. Perhaps you could make them bolder or bigger or in a contrasting colour to enhance your reader’s experience.
